Kitchen
An open-plan kitchen, where the children have the opportunity during the course of
the day to observe the daily preparation
of home cooking by the resident chef.
The children eat in the dining area at the
end of the original hand-made, solid wood and stainless steel former family kitchen. There is a laundry and separate milk kitchen. |

Baby Room – ‘The Nest’
A safe, soft stimulating room for babies from three months old. This is a large room, formerly the family music/play room. Attached to it is a sectioned-off sensory area, full of cushions and lots of twinkling lights, for total relaxation. |

Toddler room – ‘Little Birds’
Formerly the family living room (the main feature being the open fireplace). It is now filled with a wide variety of activities and experiences for our ‘little nightingales’. |

Pre-school – ‘Little Nightingales’
The room is located at the heart of the nursery, with its natural light from the skylight. It is an area promoting individual choice of play combined with the Foundation Stage curriculum. |

Garden
Little Nightingales has its own enclosed garden offering a play mulch, grass and decking areas, a summer house and a variety of climbing, pushing and wheeled toys – formerly the back garden of the family home, now providing parking and a path leading to the front entrance of the nursery. |
