Kerri
Nursery ManagerMy name is Kerri Woods, I have worked in the childcare industry for 13 years. I started off as an apprentice and have worked my way up the ladder into management. My family are my biggest influences as they all have also worked with children in one way shape or form through fostering, child-minding, children’s homes and nursery settings. I completed my Level 3 within my first childcare setting and then continued my professional development and achieved my level 4 through open university. I worked in a children’s centre for 3 years as an outreach worked supporting vulnerable families, here I was given loads of training opportunities which I can carry forward with me in my career such as under 5’s nutrition, baby massage and parenting support.

Room Leader - The NestI am currently third in charge and the Nest room leader. I have worked at little nightingales for the past 6 years. In that time I've held many little hands, watched first steps, encouraged new words and created strong bonds with each child in my care. My heart has always been in childcare, after leaving school I have worked in 3 nurseries and gained my level 3 qualification. I work term time now as my little girl is at school, after completing her adventures at little nightingales.

Laura (Lou Lou)
Room Leader - Pre SchoolMy name is Laura, been known as 'LouLou' all my life. I have three beautiful children who bring me so much joy but also pain at times. I became a mum young and caring for children is all i've ever known and had an interest in. Childcare means the world to me, giving all children in my care the same care I would for my own children. I have worked in childcare for 9 years and wouldn't change it for the world.
