Meet the Team

Elena

Elena

Director and Co-Founder

Little Nightingales is a family-owned business since 2006. Before this, it was our family home for 8 years where I brought up our three children. I have always had a strong belief in assisting parents with their childcare needs and wanted to offer a “home from home” nursery for every child. Since 2006 we have cared for over 500 children and a result, building close relationships with over 500 families to whom I still am in contact with some. Every day we strive to provide a happy, nurturing environment where parents can trust us with their precious little ones. I am looking forward to continuing to grow and building new relationships with families. My hobbies include, taking our Hercules (dog) for long walks, Yoga and everything about food! You will find me in the kitchen or running around the Nursery on a weekly basis.

Third in charge/Under 3’s Supervisor

I am currently third in charge and under 3's unit supervisor. I have worked at little nightingales for the past 7 years. In that time I've held many little hands, watched first steps, encouraged new words and created strong bonds with each child in my care. My heart has always been in childcare, after leaving school I have worked in 3 nurseries and gained my level 3 qualification. I work term time now as my little girl is at school, after completing her adventures at little nightingales.

Natalie

Natalie

Nursery Administrator

Hello, I'm Natalie the Nursery Administrator at Little Nightingales. I have come from a background of sales and worked within the local area as an Estate Agent for over 10 years. During this time, I became a wife and mother to two girls. As a family, we love the outdoors and you will see us within the local area splashing puddles and chasing the sun with our dog Owen or venturing to one of our favourite places, Whipsnade Zoo. With a Sicilian heritage, I have a love for cooking and good food (especially Italian!) and believe family is everything.
